The new Hayes Innovation Center for Advanced Manufacturing, or HICAM, will be located in East Austin, just off State Highway 130 and a few miles north of Tesla's electric vehicle factory. It will include space for classrooms, events, and coworking. 

St. John Properties details plan for Leander Tech business park

The Baltimore-based developer announced a 50-acre project near West State Highway 29 and Ronald Reagan Boulevard. Leander Tech Park is expected to include eight buildings with a total of 270,000 square feet of flexible office space, retail, and pad sites, and could support 850 jobs at buildout. 

Rickie Fowler commits to the Valero Texas Open

Muny, Ben Crenshaw's childhood golf course in Austin is still facing a development battle

The historic Lions Municipal Golf Course, known to Austinites as "Muny," remains the center of a battle between various groups in Austin. The city’s lease for the property near Lady Bird Lake expired in May 2019 and it has been operating on a five-month rolling lease with landlord UT. Crenshaw is among the prominent leaders hoping to Save Muny from development.
